A LITTLE BACKGROUND

About Me

I'm Benjamin Carraud, a French and British writer. I have found in written words the perfect medium to share my outlook on life.

My first published book, Goodbye, Fields of Prokhorovka, recounts my spontaneous past-life memories and the journey I followed to integrate that strange experience. The enormity of dealing with memories of a life long ended—of someone who died young in a world at war—has inevitably shaped my outlook on central topics such as guilt and, more importantly, forgiveness.

Broadly speaking, I like to work on stories that paint the complexity of the human condition.

When I'm not writing or editing, I spend my time exploring Asia and getting to know the beautiful souls I cross paths with. I currently live in Vietnam, where the pace of life suits my creative style.
